Painting, c. 1890. Oil on canvas by Fred Roe depicting the bedroom in Anne Hathaway's Cottage, impressionistic, showing the Hathaway Bed with multi-coloured cover and green hangings, two chests/coffers, one with a green glass bottle on it, the other with two `Bible' boxes on top; signed 'May 1890, Fred Roe'. Retouched and the glass bottle added onto chest. In original frame, very plain and rough.
