Penannular brooch

Description

An Anglo-Saxon bronze penannular or annular brooch (W74). Leeds Type 5; position unknown; cast copper alloy. Secondary ring of copper alloy around pin-loop, wrap-around pin hinge, iron pin intact. Reverse; undecorated, replaced textile adhering. Obverse undecorated, replaced textile over pin and hinge.
