Hamlet Vase

Description

Small decorated Intarsio ware pottery vase by Foley, about 1892-1925; narrow mouth with wide flattened rim; around the sides two scenes from the 'graveyard' episode in Hamlet Act V Scene 1, one depicting two gravediggers beneath the caption 'THEY HOLD UP ADAM'S PROCESSION', the other showing a jester beneath the caption 'YORICK'.
