Anglo-Saxon bowl

Description

A large bronze Anglo-Saxon bowl, with fragments of iron handle remaining. Marks of threads of woven material on under-side. Beaten out of single sheets of bronze. When excavated, a quantity of what appeared to be decayed leather found adhering to the bottom.
