Description

A late-seventeenth century oak settle; the five-panel back with geometric moulding to the centre panel, flanked by down-scrolled arms; the lift seat over a compartment with three panels to the front; English, part about 1680; the right arm replaced; the entire lower portion rebuilt incorporating some old timber.
