Description

A late 17th-century oak gateleg table, the two-plank top with falling leaves forming an oval; raised on ball-turned legs with conforming stretchers and gates; English, about 1680; the leaves reconstructed using old timber; one long stretcher and related gate replaced. Catalogue description by Victor Chinnery.
