Description

A late 17th-century oak cupboard; the two-plank rectangular top above panelled front consisting of three stages; the upper with a pair of plank doors centred by a single panel, the lower two each with a single plank door flanked by panels; above a row of three panels; the sides unusually formed of vertical sawn planks nailed to hidden horizontal rails; raised on stile feet; English, about 1680; front cornice-moulding missing; all plank doors and upper centre flanking panels replaced; all feet spliced; all ironwork replaced.
