Armchair

Description

A 19th-century birch and ash turned armchair; the ball-turned top rails flanked by heavy finials above three central vertical spindles; the club-shaped arms above the two-plank seat; the front stretcher ball-turned, the side and rear stretchers shaved; Scandinavian, about 1850; seat, seat rails, side and rear stretchers replaced.
