Description

A late 17th century oak desk box; the plain two-plank slope lid hinged at the top; front plank carved with overlapping lunettes and the sides with large diamonds centred with flower heads; the interior fitted with two drawers; English, c.1670; lid with associated lock, hasp and pine bottom.
