Description
One of a eight late 17th century backstools; each of differing pattern; with oak frames and later leather upholstery; English, basically c.1680; the frames variously heavily repaired and (prior to 2000-2001) the upholstery distressed, some in worse state than others. Re-upholstered in 2000-2001.
