Settle

Description

A late 17th century oak settle; the cresting-rail with moulded top edge above an arrangement of five panels; the scrolled arms raised on baluster-turned supports; the two-plank seat above a moulded seat rail; raised on turned legs with plain stretchers; English, c.1675; left arm, front end of right arm, seat, foot blocks and stretchers replaced; other patches.
