Description

Brass weight; 8 dram. One of 8 made by M. de Grave and Son, London and contained in a conical sharkskin case. Purchased by the Corporation in conformity with the Weights and Measures Act 1824. There were originally 9 in the set but the ½ dram was recorded by F. Wellstood in 1940 as being lost.
