A Woman of No Importance

Performed at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket, London for a season from 24th June 1992. At the start of the season Barbara Leigh-Hunt played Lady Hunstanton, Simon Day played Lord Alfred and George Giles played the Footman. In September these parts were taken by Gwen Watford, James Tucker and Angus MacLennan. From 7th October there were other cast changes: the role of Hester Worsley was taken by Paulette Ivory instead of Jaye Griffiths, the role of Lady Stutfield was taken by Nada Sharp instead of Mary Chater, and the role of Alice was taken by Sybil Allen instead of Nada Sharp.
