Shakespeare Connected - Costuming Shakespeare: Elizabethan Dress through the Centuries

Love's Labour's Lost, 2007

In recent years, several Royal Shakespeare Company productions have used Elizabethan aesthetics to construct an idealised image of the past. This 2007 Love’s Labour’s Lost featured opulent fabrics and tightly-fitted garments to communicate an intentionally nostalgic (but stylish) setting for the play.
