Tweezers (Probably 17th century) (Context 4016, Season 2)

Evidence of personal hygiene. These flat-tip tweezers are made from a single piece of copper alloy, and used for personal grooming and plucking out hairs. Shaped eyebrows were fashionable in the Elizabethan period.
