Hello, my name is Angela and I'm ten-years-old. My favourite hobbies are playing tennis, painting and hanging out with my friends. I have two cats and one family dog.

About my diary

When I started my diary I thought Shakespeare's wife, Anne Hathaway, would be the most interesting person in my opinion, because, as a mother, she would see things from her children's point of view, and as a wife, she would understand her husband. I first wrote in modern English then transferred it to Shakespearian because that way I could get all the information down quickly.

Tell us how it felt to make your diary

The one thing, well two actually, that I enjoyed, was probably tea-staining it then decorating it. When I finished it I felt a wave of accomplishment wash over me!

What did you find most interesting about Shakespeare's family?

The thing I found most interesting about Shakespeare's family was how much older Anne was than Shakespeare. The weirdest and funniest thing I found out about their family is that in his will he only left Anne his second best bed!
