Sharing Shakespeare's Story

Leather Pouch

Pockets were not common in Tudor times. Instead people wore pouches made from wool or leather which were attached to their belts.  Little pouches like these would have been made by William’s father John Shakespeare in his shop.

I like this pouch because you can keep all the stuff you need safe in it.
