Biography

"Hi, I’m Ben. I am ten years-old and I love reading, Lego, singing and maths. I love reading because it’s a way of being transported to magical worlds and I like trying to solve mysteries with the characters. I also love Lego because it is pure imagination what you build. I like singing because you can express all your emotions and feelings through it with your voice, and maths because it’s always challenging you because there is a right answer to push you. One more thing, I love my teddy Ratty!"

"I chose poetry because I like expressing my opinions through flowing words. For me, poetry is a form of music. I also chose a drawing as a background because drawing is calming and blossom trees look so lovely and beautiful.”

"This means when my mind is full, what do I do to calm it? I enjoy football, tennis, reading and lying in bed."

 

What do you do to ‘still your beating mind’?

“To calm me I play piano music while reading or play my guitar. Also singing emotionally powerful music helps me calm and relax.”
