About my creative response

“I wrote the story some time ago just after my mum had a stroke. The stroke changed almost everything about my mum and it was really difficult for all of us. I love cheetahs and I wrote the story myself at the time, because I realised it is important to be yourself no matter how something like a stroke changed you.”

When have you been ‘true to yourself’?

“I really care about the environment. I keep shutting taps and lights off at home when other people forget, because little things make a big difference. It can be easy to give up on this when other people don’t care for the environment in the same way, but it’s important to do what you believe in.”

What is your favourite Shakespeare play and why?

“I really enjoyed Twelfth Night and liked Viola very much. My favourite quote from this play is: ‘Better a witty fool, than a foolish wit’.”
