Conveyance from William Walls, late of Birmingham and now of London, locksmith (brother and heir of Henry Walls, late of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman, brother of Richard Walls of Stratford-upon-Avon, surgeon) and Mary, his wife, John Wells of Towcester, co. Northants., brazier, and Mary, his wife, and Elizabeth Walls of Brackley, co. Northants., spinster (which said Mary and Elizabeth are the sisters of the said Henry and William Walls), to Thomas Nott of Stratford-upon-Avon, surgeon (reciting the will of Richard Walls, 9 April 1770, and letters of administation, date not given, of the estate of the late Henry Walls), for £635, of a house in High Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, now in the tenure of Thomas Nott, between a house of John Preston, surgeon, on the south, and a house of John Izod on the north; the purchase price to include 'all the chirugical instruments, apothecaries shop drugs and other things' contracted to be sold to Thomas Nott by Henry Walls on 1 June 1772, and the payment of a legacy of £60 from Richard Walls to his niece, Mary Walls, on her attaining the age of 21 (see DR882/30)
