Defeasance with counterpart from Edward Belknap' esquire, sheriff of the county of Warr' to John Archer' esquire: namely that whereas the said John Archer' was bound to the said Edward Belknap' by a bond of 1 June 17 Henry VII [1502] in the penal sum of 10 marks, which bond the said Edward has given to Richard Wyllys, the said parties agreed that if the jury empanelled by the said Edward in an action of trespass of timber between the said John and others, defendants, and Richard Salter and others, plaintiffs, valued at 10 marks, 'passe with' the said John Archer'.
