Burton Dassett: early deeds, Palyington, a grant

Description

Grant by John Peyto to Nicholas Gau/ntro of Palyington and his first lawful wife [?] of a messuage with toft, croft, curtilage and a virgate of land with appurtenances in the town and fields of Palyington, namely that house which Alice, mother of the said Nicholas held.

To hold of the grantor and his heirs, paying annually in lieu of service, except foreign service for the king, twenty shillings at two usual terms.
