School certificates awarded by the University of Cambridge to John Freer Saunders, aged 15 to 17, of St Albans (1873) and Bedford (1874-76), son of Henry Caulfield Saunders, together with a photograph (c. 1870) of his mother, Louisa Saunders (nee Smith) and a modern (2000) pedigree of the descendants of Henry Saunders, d. 1802. Photocopies of originals in the possession of Mary Freer Poles (nee Saunders).
