Description

Gift with warranty from Margery lady of Stivechale, widow, to Philip le Norisoun of Warewyk' for his service, of an annual rent of 4 shillings which William le Mumbray was accustomed to pay to the said Margery in Stivechale, together with homage, relief, escheats and all other services; to hold of the said Margery and her heirs for ever, rendering annually one clove of gillyflower in lieu of all secular services, suits and demands. Witnesses: Ranulph de Stivechale, son to the said Margery, Henry his brother, Ralph de Hwyteleya, John de Barewe, Robert le Wodeward' of Stivechal' and others. Seal on tag; pointed oval, green.
