Description

Gift from Ranulph son of John Walter of Stivechale to Juliana widow of Adam Haldeyn of Coventr' deceased, of all that third part of a curtilage as dower which the said Ranulph purchased of Richard le Pursere of Coventr' toward the Bridge of Spanna [Spon]; which land formerly belonged to the said Adam Haldeyn deceased, lying between the land which Robert de Chilton' held of the said Adam and the land which John de Leyre held; to hold the same to the said Juliana for her life as dower with reversion in fee to the grantor. Witnesses: Henry Baker (Pistore), bailiff of Coventr', Robert de Chilton', Geoffrey son of John, Gilbert Corwenne, Gilbert de Heyham, Richard Kyng, Richard Kay and others.
