Description

Gift with warranty from Nicholas le Mareschal of Coventr' to William Tony of Coventr' goldsmith, and Matilda his wife of a messuage in Coventr' lying towards the place called Pottersrowe between the land of Laurence de Busseby and the land of Sarah daughter of Richard Forthwyne in breadth and extending in length from the highway to the land of the said Laurence; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee; and for this the said William and Matilda give 14 marks. Witnesses: Robert Baker (Pistore), Alexander de Stonleye, Peter Barun, William de Schepeye, Robert le Keu, Alexander le Moubrey, John de Halys, Richard le Spicer, Robert Fraunceys, John le Govere, Roger de Pacwod', William le Waydur and others.
