Quitclaim from John de Leycestr' kinsman of brother Henry, prior of Coventr', to Nicholas de Stonton' and Margery his wife of all his right in a messuage which formerly belonged to Henry de Merynton' in `maiori vico parci' [Much Park Street] in Coventr' lying between the tenement of Geoffrey Frebern and the tenement of the Abbot of Coumba in breadth, also in 40 shillings annual rent issuing out of the tenement which Thomas de Balishale formerly held in `vico comitis' [Earl Street] in Coventr' next the tenement formerly belonging to Roger Box. Witnesses: John de Clifton', bailiff of Coventr', Roger de Pacwode, coroner, Laurence de Shepeye, John de Merynton', William Grauntpe, Roger le Hunte, John le Chaloner and others. Dated at Coventr' on Saturday in the feast of St. Michael the Archangel, 4 Edward III. Seal on tag: oval, white, broken. A bird, legend indecipherable. Tag a portion of an earlier document.
