Description

Feoffment with warranty from Elizabeth Waren of Coventr' widow, to Christopher Sannascall clerk, her son, and Richard Fuliambe chaplain, of all her messuages, lands, tenements, meadows, pastures, woods, rents and reversions and services in Coventr' and the town and fields of Folleshull and Exall in the county of the same city which she the said Elizabeth, together with Baldwin Porter, John Herford, Richard Fuliambe, and William Godfrey formerly had jointly by the feoffment of John Stanfeild her father to the use of him the said John for the term of his life with remainder to the use of the said Elizabeth and the heirs of her body; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee to the use of her the said Elizabeth for her life with remainder to the use of the said Christopher and his heirs for ever. Appointment of John Hall of Coventr' saddler, and John Elys of Folleshull husbandman, as attornies to deliver seisin of the said premises to the said Christopher and Richard. Dated: 16 September, 31 Henry VIII. Seal on tag: circular, red. The letters: E.C. G.R. Endorsed with a memorandum of livery of seisin in the presence of Thomas Gregorie, Robert Feres, Thomas Watson, Roger Watson and others.
