Description

Quitclaim with warranty from Edward Fyssher, son and heir of Thomas Fyssher, esq. to Arthur Gregory, esq., of all his right in the manor of Stivechall, alias Stichall, and in the view of frankpledge and other liberties pertaining to the same; and in the site of the manor called le Overhalstud, and all the closes, etc. pertaining to this `mansio' containing one hide or four virgates, lying in length between Sevenhookes Cannok' and Aylesden and in width running through the hamlet of Asthull between Heathsale and Sevenacres and Rowson; also in the homage and service issuing from the lands and tenements of Henry Berkeley, knight, Lord Berkeley, the homage and service of one rose and 2 shillings from Humphrey Ferrers, esq., the homage and service of Thomas Hill of 12 pence and half a pound of cumin; 2 shillings from Robert Turner, 10 shillings from Thomas Essex, esq.; and in all other liberties and emoluments, including free fishing in the waters of Sherborn and Sowe and common of pasture for two hundred beasts in Stoneley and Stivechale.
