Description

Lease from David Bull of Stichall, alias Stivechall, gent., to Eustace Burneby of Coventrie, esq. and Alice Knightley of Perryhall, co. Staffs., spinster, for 150 pounds, of the following; a messuage with garden, orchard and croft, and a yard land with appurtenances belonging to the said messuage; a cottage with garden and croft in Stivechall; a messuage with garden and croft in Stivechall with six selions of arable land lying in the fields of Stivechall, and which said messuage, garden and croft lie on the north side of the town of Stivechall; and a cottage, with orchard and backside in Stivechall; all of which premises were late in the tenure of Sir John Francklin, knight, and Robert Robertes, clerk, and now are in the occupation of the said David Bull; to hold the same from Michaelmas last for a term of 99 years at a peppercorn rent; and the said premises to remain at a clear annual value of 12 pounds.
