Bargain and sale with warranty from Henry Over of Coventr', grocer, Richard Over of the same, grocer, his son and heir, and William Phynnes of the same, stapler, to John Tallontes of Coventr', goldsmith, of a messuage, lands and tenements, etc. in Fletchamstede in the parish of Stonley, in the occupation of William Wright of Fletchamste, husbandman, which messuage, etc. was amongst other lands in Alspade next Meriden' and Coventr' bought of John Wade of that city, gent., by indenture dated 21 February, 3 Elizabeth [1561: see no. 1058]; to hold of the chief lord of the fee. Appointment of Julian Herringe of Coventr' as attorney to deliver seisin. Dated: 3 May, 4 Elizabeth Signed: `per me Henry Over; per me Richard Over; per me William Phennys' Seals: 3 in red wax on tags: i) fragment only, armorial ii) A roman gem; a helmeted head. iii) the letters R M. Endorsed: i) with memorandum of delivery of seisin in the presence of John Brakeleye, William Sanders, Henrie Gillet, Henry Davies, John Eginton ii) Flechamsted [AG] iii) a messuage and land in Fletchamstede solde by Mr. Henry Over. Richard Over and William Pheyns iv) William Wrightes howse at Fleychamstyd.
