Description

Gift in frankalmoign with warranty from Gregory, son of Matthew, for the safety of his soul and that of his wife Sabina, to God and the church of St. Sepulchre of Warwic' and the prior and canons there serving God, to sustain a light in their church, of an annual rent of 12 pence from the stall in the high market (alto foro) in Warwic', which Richard son of the master held; from the stall held by Richard son of Gilbert, 14 pence; from John son of Gilbert's stall, 16 pence; from Thomas Knut's, 16 pence; from Gregory's 16 pence; and from Matthew Knut's, 16 pence; together with the curtilage reaching from the said stalls to the fee of Gilbert Kentensis; to hold and receive the said rents (2 terms), paying annually to the chief lord of the fee 6 shillings. Witnesses: Richard son of William, Robert Godwin', Henry son of Ynge, Geoffrey son of Henry, John `nutricio', Henry de Suham, William de Rouceby, Reginald the janitor and others.
