Knight of Barrells

Description

Memorandum that by indenture dated 1 August 1884 the Rev. H.C. Knight in consideration of £10 conveyed to Edward Charles Browning, William York Marston and Charles Callow Smith, trustees of a settlement therein referred to, a piece of land at Henley-in-Arden near the Bear inn and then used as garden ground therewith, bounded on the South side by a lane leading from the village towards certain fields belonging to H.C. Knight, on the East by the said Bear inn and on other sides by property of George Bullivant and others, to hold to the said trustees upon the trusts of the said settlement.
