Gift with warranty from Richard le Baldewyn to the Abbot of Cumba and the Convent of the same place of two roods of meadow with a piece of meadow called Smedole lying between the meadow of John Atte Cros and the meadow of Richard Ody and two roods of meadow lying between the meadow of William Colman and the meadow of Richard Ody in the common meadow of Brynkelowe below the Abbey of Cumba in length; and in breadth according to the metes and bounds; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Dated at Byln' [Binley] Thursday in the feast of St. Vincentius the Martyr, 22 Edward III (22 Jan 1348/9). Witnesses: John de Peyto, John de Merynton', Guy le Breton', John le Baldewyn, Henry Morys and others. Armorial seal on tag: circular, white. A bend. Legend: S' IACOBI DE FERRERS.
