Description

Gift from James de Clinton' lord of Badisleya to Nicholas son of Adam de Badisleya one croft with appurtenances in Badisley lying next to the land of Thomas de la lee on the one hand, and the road leading towards Balisale on the other, abbutting on one headland upon the land of the said Thomas, and on the other, upon the road leading to the house of the said Nicholas. To hold the same freely, with the right to sell or assign the same lands, rendering annually 14d. at the two terms, that is 7d. at the feast of St. Andrew and 7d. at the feast of St. Peter ad vincula in lieu of all services and demands except foreign service.
