Description

Gift from Roger atte Fenne to Thomas atte Fenne his brother and Alice his wife of two acres of land which the said Roger held by the gift and feoffment of Thomas de Clinton' lord of Baddesleye lying in breadth between the land of Thomas atte Forde on the one hand and the road leading between the new lands on the other, and extending in length from the land of Adam Steuenen as far as the road leading from the parsonage `persona' of Baddesleye towards the court house `curia' of Balisale. To hold the same to the said Thomas and Alice and their lawful issue from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service, with the condition that if the said Thomas and Alice should die without such issue that the said lands were to revert to the said Roger and his heirs. Warranty clause. Sealing clause. Witnesses: Thomas de Baddesleye, Henry de Bereford, William de Morhey, John de Packewode, William de Nonneleye and others.
