Draft release by John Fell, Ratcliffe Highway, Middx., publican to Mayor, Aldermen and Capital Burgesses of Stratford-upon-Avon of 2 messuages, divided into 4, with Blacksmith's Shop and garden in Henley Street, in the occupations of William Allcock, --- Taylor, --- Busby and William Morrall [4-5] in trust to fulfill the uses defined in an indenture of 14 June 1695. Recitals (1) 14 June 1695 Feoffment by Richard Smith, citizen and grocer of London to the Mayor, Aldermen and 4 capital burgesses of Stratford-upon-Avon of premises [above] in the occupation of John Bradley and William Biddle upon trust to use the profits to buy 12 penny loaves weekly to be distributed each Sunday at the Parish Church: 6 to inhabitants of the Borough and 6 to inhabitants of Old Stratford and to pay 10/- yearly to the Vicar to preach a sermon in the Gild Chapel on the first Wednesday of September, being the day for the election of the Mayor. Provisions for the election of new trustees. (2) 27 28 May 1779: Feoffment by Richard Allen and Samuel Winter, the 2 surviving trustees vesting premises in new trustees [named] (3) Death of all trustees, James Fell being last in 1809. (4) John Fell, party to deed, is nephew and heir of James Fell.
