Deeds, schedules, etc. relating to house, orchard and gardens purchased in 1835 by Joseph Townsend from the executors of Halford Court late of Fulbrook, deceased, and sold to Henry Goff, Alveston, miller, by Charles John Townsend, Alveston, gent. Premises lie on NE of village green and were once in the occupation of Rev. Mr. Meads, then Thomas Hiron, since of William Gibbs, late of Thomas Hortin Smith. With extract Alveston Enclosure Award, 1772 and abstract of title 1759-1835.
