Licence from the Mayor, etc. of Stratford upon Avon to John Walford of Deritend in the parish of Aston, near Birmingham, to assign to Henry Smith of Admington, co. Glouc., yeoman, a lease, dated 4 October 1762 from the then Mayor, etc. of a messuage etc. in High Street, between a messuage then of John Capp, lately deceased, on the north and a messuage then of John Woolmer lately deceased, on the south, together with a messuage etc. in Ely Street, alias Swine Street, between a barn etc. of Elizabeth Smith, widow, on the west, and the back premises of Mr. Woolmer's house on the west (the said two messuages being then or late in the tenure of George Garrard) for 41 years at a yearly rent of 24 shillings and one couple of capons or 1 shilling 6d in lieu thereof.
