Conveyance to Secure Mortgage: Aston Cantlow and Great Alne

Conveyance (to secure a mortgage) dated 16 February 1715/6 (Old style) [1716], from John Ellins of Morton Abbots, co. Worcs., gent., with the consent of Thomas Hopkins of Cookhill in the parish of Inkberrow, yeoman, to William Gower of Thorne in the parish of Inkberrow, co. Worcs., gent., (reciting ER3/2659-2660 and that the said John Ellins, with the consent of Thomas Hopkins and Mary, his wife, on 13 and 14 February 1715/6 (Old style) [1716], for £108 10s 0d, assigned to William Gower the mortgage in the premises in Aston Cantlow recited in ER3/2659-2660), for the better securing of the above mentioned mortgage, of the premises in Great Alne mentioned in ER3/2656-2657, subject to a proviso for redemption. Witnesses: C. Magenis, Thomas Wilson and Thomas Perks.
