Quitclaim dated from John Hale, son and heir of William Hale of Stratford-upon-Avon, weaver, and Isabella his wife, to Thomas Osborn of Stratford, barber, of all his right in a tenement in Stratford in the High Street between a tenement of Thomas Staffordshyre called `le Swan' and the tenement of William Miller, mercer. Witnesses: John Clopton, capital bailiff of Stratford, John Gilberte and Thomas Dawbys, constables, William Bery and Robert Iremonger, sub-bailiffs and Thomas Compton and Roger Palmer. Dated at Stratford, Monday after the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 11 Edward IV [1472].
