Conveyance: Halford

Description

Conveyance from William Knibb of Halford, wheelwright, to Thomas Knibb of Halford, husbandman, as was directed by the will of Thomas Knibb, deceased, father of the said William and Thomas, of certain pieces of arable meadow and pasture, common of pasture and appurtenances as specified in a schedule thereto annexed, being parcel of two yard lands in Halford which theretofore belonged to a messuage in Halford in the occupation of Thomas Rose; to hold to the said Thomas Knibb and his heirs for ever of the chief Lord of that fee. Witnesses: Giles Smith, Thomas Hartwell (by mark) and George Botts (by mark). Memorandum endorsed that Nicholas Harris of Halford, being tenant for a term of years of part of the premises, gave to Thomas Knibb fourpence by way of attonement.
