Probate of Will: Hannah Whyham, Aston Cantlow

Description

Probate of the Will dated 24 March 1728/9 (Old style) [1729] of Hannah Whyham of Aston Cantlow, widow of Richard Whyham late of the same place, miller, whereby she bequeathed to her sister Mary Southam of Aulston near Loxley, widow, the sum of £20 and in case that any one of the testatrix's sons, Richard, Thomas and Humphrey Whyham should die before attaining 21 years, that any legacy bequeathed to them should lapse to the surviving brother or brothers; and she appointed her son Richard Whyham her executor and residuary legatee and appointed her brothers, Steven Dadley of Yarningale Hill in the parish of Claverdon and Francis Dadley of Langley, the overseers of her Will, guardians of her children and residuary devisees. Witnesses: Francis Eedes, John Parry and Charles Parry. Proved at Worcester, 1 April 1729 by Richard Whyham.
