Description
Conveyance by Lease and Release dated 13 14 January 1737/8 (Old style) [1738], from Richard Bartlett of Stratford-upon-Avon, apothecary, the Reverend Joseph Greene of Stratford-upon-Avon, clerk, and Cecilia his wife (only daughter of Richard Bartlett by Cecilia his wife, who was the widow and devisee of Ralph Poole of Stratford-upon-Avon, mercer, deceased) to Robert Martin and Edward Astley, of certain hereditaments in Long Marston and Mickleton upon trusts therein specified. Witnesses: Bartholomew Mason and Gilbert Glover, With Final Concord and Agreement made in Hilary Term 1738 at Westminster before John Wills, Alexander Denton, John Comyns and John Fortescue Aland, H. M. Justices, between Robert Martin and Edward Astley, plaintiffs, and Joseph Greene, clerk, and Cecilia his wife, deforciants, of one messuage, one barn, one stable, one garden, one orchard, forty acres of land, ten acres of meadow, twenty acres of pasture and common of pasture for all cattle in Long Marston otherwise Marston Sicca and Mickleton.
