Conditions of Sale: Snitterfield

Description

Copy of Conditions of Sale of two pieces of freehold woodland in Snitterfield forming part of Snitterfield Bushes, lying on either side of the road between Snitterfield and Bearley, lot 1 being on the right hand side and lot 2 on the left. With a memorandum that lot 2 was purchased by Henry Smith [of Snitterfield] esq. for £280. Also printed Bill of Sale attached stating that the auction was made under the Will of Thomas Hiron esq. at the Bell Inn, Snitterfield on 6 December 1848. The woodland consisted of 21 acres, 3 roods and 8 perches and was bounded by the lands of Mark Philips, Henry Smith and John Rich esquires. [Hiron]
