Description

Lease and Release, the Release being a Conveyance from Thomas Mander of Toddenham [Todenham] co. Gloucester, gent., to William Slatter of Ilmington, gent., and Decimus Slatter of Upper Pillerton [Pillerton Priors], yeoman, brother of the said William, and Thomas Taylor, clerk, rector of Ripple, co Worcester, of three cottages and lands in Ilmington in the occupation of Edward Furser, John Bishop and William Bull, and lands in Ilmington held by Samuel Handy, Abraham Swanne, clerk and Richard Coldycot, as tenants of the said Thomas Mander. Covenant to levy a fine by the said Thomas Taylor to the use of the said William and Decimus Slatter and their heirs Consideration: £787 10s. Signed and sealed by Thomas Mander. One other seal. Witnesses: George Coldicott and Harry Mander. Two indentures of Fine attached to Release.
