Bond to Secure Peaceful Possession: Ilmington
Description
Bond from Richard Eyans of Enstone co. Oxford, gent., to Decimus Slatter of Southfield in the parish of Ilmington, yeoman, to secure peaceful possession of a messuage and lands in Ilmington conveyed by the said Richard Eyans to the said Decimus Slatter in the penal sum of £2,000. Signed and sealed by Richard Eyans. Witnesses: Rester Stanton and Abraham Bullen. Also Receipt dated 15 January 1710 signed by Richard Lydiatt for £557 5s. from Decimus Slatter for the use of Doctor Beaumont Percivall for the principal sum and interest due on a Mortgage from Richard Eyans and Elizabeth, his wife to the said Beaumont Percivall made on 29 March 1707.
