Papers include: - Deed of co-partnership between Richard Chattaway and James Coling, mercers and drapers of High Street, .... 1842 (not executed). - Copy will of Richard Coling of Stratford-upon-Avon, draper (father of James), dated 13 November 1846, proved 23 January 1847. - Executors' papers for the above, including a draft release from James Coling of Cambridge, gent., and Harriet Coling and Jane Coling of Stratford-upon-Avon, spinsters, children of Richard Coling, to Richard Chattaway, on his having purchased the share of his late partner, Richard Coling, 20 October 1847 - Papers concerning a distraint by the trustees of Ann Coling, widow of Thomas Coling, on William Kemp of Stratford-upon-Avon, coal-dealer, including sale bill for his household furniture, 2 May 1848. Also included is a sale catalogue of the farm implements and stock and household furniture to be sold on the premises of William Pickering of Luddington, 24-26 February 1851, as a result of a debt action brought against him by Thomas Barnes of Shottery, farmer.
