Cheeke, Russell Tipping families: Archer of Tanworth

Description

A statement by one of Col. Francis Russell's servants about: 1. Linen and lace goods which were ordered from Holland when Col. Francis was fitting himself for his voyage to Barbados in 1694, for himself and Lady North, believed to have been paid for by Mr. Bacon but which were sent from Plymouth'into the Straight' and were lost. It is suggested that Mr. Addis, Clerk of the Cheek [?Check], would be a proper man to make enquiry among the merchants of Plymouth about the box. 2. Lady North's coach, which Col. Francis sent to Jamaica to be sold some months after her death, of which nothing has since been heard except that it was sold for £30.
