Draft bond from Rev. H.C. Knight of Oak Hill house, West Cowes, I.O.W. clerk and C.R. Knight of 36 Montague Square co. Middx. esq. to George Richards Elkington of Birmingham, electro plater, in the sum of £1,000, reciting a conveyance of even date from John Bullar and W.F. Beadon to the said G.R. Elkington and [his trustee] Frederick Elkington in consideration of £9,675 paid by G.R. Elkington of messuages and lands comprising Botley Hill and Impsley farms in Ullenhall in Wootton Wawen, and rentcharge in lieu of tithes apportioned thereon. As in no. DR 225/33, the said H.C. Knight and C.R. Knight bound themselves to indemnify the purchaser against any possible incidence of land tax on these properties. Schedule of lands with description and quantity.
